Dear Friends,
I am delighted to write this foreword to the website of Bethel Bible College. The College was started with a vision to equip and train young men and women for evangelistic and pastoral ministry. The word “Bethel” reminds us of the vision young Jacob had that night when he saw the angels ascending and descending on a ladder reaching to heaven (Gen. 28:10-22). The college, in addition to academic studies, also emphasizes spiritual experience and growth in personal devotion and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. The word “Bible” indicates the focus of the institution on the Scriptures, their understanding interpretation. I, on behalf of the Board of Governors, invite churches, congregations and Christian Org recommend and sponsor young people for training at this institution. This website gives you about the life and programs of the college and other necessary information. I solicit your prayers for Bethel Bible College.

Message from the Principal
Bethel Bible College, affiliated to the Senate of Serampore College, is a ministry of Gospel Mission of India. The college is located in a strategic place to provide students with experience of the realities of life in the Indian context. It is interdenominational in character and committed to ensuring a holistic understanding of theological education and ministerial formation. Under the Serampore system, the Bachelor of Divinity (BD) degree course, a four year program, is offered to graduates from any recognized college or university. The five year B.D., course is also offered to students who have successfully completed their +2/intermediate studies. Candidates who have successfully completed their B.Th. Degree, including paper numbers 72 and 73, from the Senate of Serampore College (University) can apply for BD upgrading (two/three years) It is my pleasure to invite young Christian women and men who are committed to serve God and are qualified to apply for admission to the college.
